EXCESSIVE CHARGES

I contacted the supplier as my Geyser had burst. They submitted a quote and said they could make a plan to bypass the geyser and come back on Monday to do the work. Not knowing the going rates I assumed that as he knew it would be an insurance claim and that I would look to recover my money from my insurer that he would be at insurance rates or at least close to it. Turns out that the insurance company allow +- R12000 whilst his quote was R22417.92. As a result I am out of pocket for the difference. I would have accepted if he was slightly over the accepted rate but not double. I would like to warn all other possible users of ARCK SERVICES.
