This is how you treat customers? I had my account for a long time. I maxed it out buying sneakers. Then on monday by pure chance i see you have the Lebron 19. So i monitor your site assuming to see them sold out the next day. To my surprise they are not moving not online or in the two stores that have them and today being friday i walk down to Shortmarket street to ask for a lay-bye. I am the only one in the store asking for the LeBron despite the store being full. Even after i pick it up to view, no-one raises an eye. So this sneaker is obviously "sitting" If it were a hype or fire drop it would have been gone the same hour of release. But no. So i ask for my size and go over to the counter and ask for a lay-bye. Only to be snubbed by the sales assistant who them promptly informs me that new drops can only be lay-byed 2 weeks after drop. The common sense had obviously escaped this chap and TFG. I mean the shoe didnt sell out at drop so open season and first come first served. Not so here. "Lets discriminate at will here" says TFG. "You cant afford the full ask price immediately and this disqualifies you. Tough." You are not creating hype. The sneaker is the hype on its own. If its fire 🔥 its sells immediately: see Jordan 1 high. You just promoting elitism. So i had to be embarrassed and walk out empty-handed. You often ask me how my instore experience was.
