Rude Staff members

I visited the Sandton ARC store on Sunday during the 25% off promotion, so the store was understandably busy. When I first approached the Fenty Skin section, I asked for assistance, but the staff member I spoke to seemed disinterested and unwilling to help.

After selecting my products, I joined the long queue. Since there are products displayed along the queue path, I browsed briefly while maintaining my position. When I returned to my place – which had not moved – a staff member tapped me on the shoulder and instructed me to go to the back of the line.

Other customers in the queue immediately informed her that I had been standing there all along. Instead of apologising, she walked away and stood off to the side, watching me. The entire interaction made me feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and singled out.

I shop at ARC regularly, often monthly, and have heard others mention rude staff before – but experiencing it firsthand was disappointing and shocking. I genuinely enjoy the store and its products, but this incident left a very negative impression.
