Your packages are NOT safe with Aramex

On Wednesday I received an email from the international retailer that my order would be delivered that day and I should keep my phone on me so the courier service could get hold of me once they arrive at my house. On Thursday, I received an email at 7am in the morning from the international retailer that my order had been delivered. The courier service they used to deliver my order was Aramex and I was shocked to get this email because though I kept my phone with me throughout Wednesday, no delivery had been made. I emailed Aramex and they responded that my package would be delivered that day (Thursday) and that I would be called once they are at my house. I didn't receive any call on Thursday. I decided to call Aramex today and I was told my package was delivered yesterday (Thursday) at 14h15 yet I received no phone call from Aramex and Aramex just gave my package to a random stranger who I don't know. Now I'm being told they are trying to get hold of the driver, and I am wondering how long it takes to get hold of a driver. It's been more than five hours and no response and I probably won't be hearing from them over the weekend. I find it shocking that Aramex gave my package with my private details on it to a random stranger. They also made no attempt to contact me. Your packages aren't safe with Aramex. Other couriers would SMS you 24 Hours before the time to tell you the date and time period during which they would deliver, then call you once they get to your house. If you don't answer or no one opens the door, then they send an SMS with a link for you to reschedule the delivery but they don't leave your package with people who are not at your property.
