Wrong address taken down by Vorna Valley Postnet clerk; wrong contact number - no follow-up for URGENT parcel

I expected an urgent parcel from Vorna Valley Postnet in JHB to my flat in Summestrand in PE. I called Postnet in Summerstrand who told me a delivery was attempted this morning but I was not available. When I checked the waybill, I saw they had the wrong address (actually incomplete address) and the wrong mobile phone number. The Postnet store told me that they don't handle this shipment, and that Aramex does. So, I called Aramex and was greeted by a message that sounded as if they really prefer that one does not call them. They try to fob you off onto the robot WA line - when you go to the robot WA line, it is truly just that - a robot, no personal contact, and if you try and engage - by pressing the numbers (1 - 5) or whatever, they line goes dead. Then, I called the Aramex PE number again and was met with the same redirection to the WA robot, but this time I persevered and stayed on the line. I was hugely irritated by the blaring music that is played - it might work for a certain demographic, but really isn't in any way helpful when one is already anxious about a lost parcel and you are blasted by loud and very inappropriate music - please change your music on the phone calls - there are so many restful music tracks to de-escalate tension in irate customers, that I am sure you will find something more appropriate. I was met by a helpful agent, who took my details down (the parcel was incorrectly addressed by the agent in the Vorna Valley Postnet and omitted the name of the block of flats, and only had a street number. It also didn't have the correct mobile number, so the courier would have tried to phone me, and NOT reached me.

This just goes to say that COurier services are replacing postal services in SA, but paying a premium price for such a service still requires accurate and timely deliveries. Neither of these criteria were met with this delivery.

I still have no idea when to expect this super urgent parcel.
