Worst courier company in existence

Bought several items from Amazon and all were collected by Aramex. The largest and most expensive item has gone missing. They are unable to tell me where. Amazon are not interested as it was collected from them by Aramex. Two weeks I have been trying to find my item. I am now told to wait another two weeks and then I can escalate it ! What the ? I'm out of pocket and do not have my item.
