UNPROFESSIONAL/BAD ATTITUDE/BREACH
Dropped off a parcel yesterday at Aramex at Pick and Pay Woodmead for collection from Johannesburg to Durban, overnight service. Today it was supposed to be delivered by 12 noon. No delivery and when we called the Durban office they said to call the Johannesburg office as it is still in Johannesburg and it will only be delivered on Monday...what nonsense is this! They should have told us this yesterday then we would have gone elsewhere as it was urgent. When I called the Johannesburg office they told me they having a problem with SAA and I asked to speak to the manager, they put me through and no one answered the call for 15 mins and it went back to the switchboard without saying anything they just kept putting me back to the managers office. I called them again and the receptionist (Ruth) said he must be there as the managers line is not busy, asked her to put me through to a manager or supervisor and she put me through to the call centre spoke to Archie and he said the manager is out and so is the supervisor. He took down my details and said the supervisor will be back in 10 mins and will call me back. Its gone 15 mins and still no call. Now what...!!!!
I would like to apologize profusely for the delayed delivery of your shipment, we always strive to meet our transit times as promised, however there are times and moments where we get failed by the airlines thus impacting on our ability to honor the transit times we have promised our customers.
The airlines have brought the cut off times earlier this week directly impacting our ability to deliver shipments on time. The shipments for Durban will be lodged on the first available flight to Durban once we are allowed to lodge. further updates will be provided on your shipment.
