To deliver or misdeliver? That’s not the question, no one cares!!

I’ve received a notice that my Amazon parcel (child’s birthday present) was delivered in another town a few hours ago. I called to enquire and they assured me someone would call back. When I called back an hour later they said my query was not assigned and that their turn around time was 24-48 hours. They could not care less about misdelivery.
