THE WORST COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH BY FAR!

The most terrible Courier service I have ever used! They damaged the +R7000.00 electronic item along the way and then refused to let me claim for it from them, saying that the AGS Protect Insurance that I requested by ticking the option on the online AGS (Aramex Global Shopper) membership was not added! They also were not contactable via the online site options and even via their call centre! It took me weeks to get through to them via their Aramex branch in Stellenbosch! It has now been a month since their representative, Tarryn contacted me via email and told me I would need to claim from the supplier rather than them, even though I sent them proof of the damage to the box, and asked her to please let me know if they would honour their AGS Protect Insurance option that is automatically ticked by default when you sign up for the membership and pay the membership fee! I also informed her that I had a screen grab proving that I ticked the AGS Protect Insurance option for Hong Kong too! Stay well clear of this company unless you have your own insurance in place to cover you! Don't trust them!
