Struggle to clear parcels

I phoned Yesterday to follow up on a R400 worth parcel, they told me its in clearance, still no update on clearing, and why do i have to pay duties on this. I have ordered the same a pre time and i did not pay anything because its a low value. I need this item urgent please. Why is the clearing taking so long, all you customer services say is there is a lot of parcels and its done in batches, they cannot clear only one. Well then get more personnel to help because other shipping companies does not have these problems.
