****** Parcel and Bad Service

I sent parcel from Cape Town to East London (Mdantsane) on the 19 January 22, which was not the first time sending parcel to the same address this year.

The same driver ( who delivered the previous parcel early January) called on the 21 Jan 22 to ask for the address and when my cousin returned the call he said he is turning back because he is rushing for his next delivery does she have someone or know of anyone in that area and she advise No and he said he will deliver on Monday then. Come Monday, no call from him and she called, his response was he’s going to call the office and get someone to deliver because he is not at work and he will call back which he did not. On Tuesday morning she called him and no answer. Few hours later she received a phone call from a customer service agent that the parcel was ****** that’s it. She told the lady that doesn’t make sense can they call me as I sent the parcel and she called me to say there was break-in at the Mdantsane branch and my parcel has been ******. I asked her when did this happened because the driver said he will deliver the parcel on Monday because he was on a rush so that doesn’t make sense and as far as I know Mdantsane doesn’t have an Aramex branch and she said she will find out and call me back till today the 28Jan no call from her.

I drove to the Aramex head office so that I can get an answers to my questions and unfortunately customers are not allowed in the premises you have to tell the security guard your complaint and they will call the customer service which an agent based in Durban said there’s nothing they can do unfortunately the drop box service doesn’t have an insurance. So my question is why the guy didn’t call back instead he did not answer his call? The customer service lady who call to say there was a break-in she also didn’t call back as promised which makes me suspicious.

Our parcels are being ****** just like that the drivers decides to turn back without reaching the destination and 4 days later parcel is ****** 🤔🤔🤔
