Slow clearance -

<p>Aramex charges R260 for a clearance fee for all imports (this is to clear your import on your behalf and help you pay it and get it through customs) </p> <p>The issue is that they are very slow at it and may not send you a bill for your customs payment. I had waited over a week after the item was at the JHB sort depo. I then could see on the trackingh that it was on hold for 7 days in a row stating that it has not been paid yet,,, but i never recieved a bill. So had to follolw up and help remind tem to clear my parcel. This time round i tracked it online and made sure as when it got to the sort depo i would phone them and ask for my bill. Tip eben if they phone you, call them back if yyou dont get your bill,,,, and yes R260 for thAt service, and you have to pay EFT.</p> <p>Good thing is that it stays on a R260 clearance fee for more valuble goods, and AREMEX int is fast,.</p> <p>My UPS guys have a card machine in the van, so I can pay my customs fees as i get the parcel. </p>
