SAD, sad Aramax claims department

When it comes to claims, Aramax SUCKS. Before the end of June this year, I sent a parcel to Pietermaritzburg. En route from Durban to its destination, their vehicle was involved in an accident, and apparently they also carried cans of paint?? in the back, which broke and split its contents onto the waybills. To cut a long story short, I was notified of this event, and told I could put a claim in - an invoice and the waybill no was required. All duly done the invoice was sent to them dated 30 June 2021 DBP *** in the amount of R750. From there the uphill climb started with lack of communication, reminder e-mails, and eventually an email referring me to the assessors, saying it was now between me and the assessors. This was stringed out and more e-mails followed, demanding a declaration that I did not claim from any other insurance company, and my bank statement on a bank letterhead. I sent my personal bank statement and now, lo and behold, a Third Party release again asking my banking details, my VAT number and a clearing number? I've had my share with them for inefficiency. Really, at this point, I will not use them again, and will look for another courier.
