RUDE, LATE, DISRESPECTFUL, DAMAGED ITEM
HORRIBLE. Not safe, not reliable, disrespectful and not punctual. False advertising - your package is NOT safe with them. Please don't use Aramex Port Elizabeth. Firstly, My package arrived late. Considering lockdown, I could understand this but what was still to come...I could never imagine. Today, the rudest most disrespectful delivery person who said his name was simpiwe, banged at my door. All of a sudden we heard very loud and aggressive banging at the front door, the doorbell was rang while this continued. I fetched my mask and opened the door. He didn't even look at me or say hello, simply said said "Aramex" I was confused by his aggression and asked if he was knocking for long. He **** and said yes - I wasn't even far from the door ( I would have heard) he then asked for my name and to spell it, and typed it into the iPad. Thereafter, he proceeded to attempt to shove my package through the gate. He didnt even give me time to open the gate, mind you, at this point I had only opened no more than a minute ago. I asked him to hand my package over the gate and he did - handing a squished aramex packet to me - with rips in the packet. Then immediately, he walked away. No smile, nothing. As he walked away I asked his name and who knows if it was the truth. Best part, this item that was handled with such disrespect? It was a birthday present, sent by a loved one on the other side of the country. Their cape town and port Elizabeth branches don't answer the phone. I actually want a refund and will never use them again. I had never had a bad experience with aramex before, but you know what they say about a bad apple. Due to my experience today, I will make sure my family members and friends never use aramex. I was honestly disgusted and didn't even open my package immediately because there was so much negative energy and disrespect around it (tears and horrible delivery person). I'm still shocked. NOT OKAY ARAMEX.
