Ridiculous for a courier company

I have had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, it is now Saturday and I have still not received the package. Each day this week I have been told the package will be arriving before 5pm on the same day, yet I have not received it. I have offered to collect the package at this point because of how useless a courier company, only to be told that isn't possible because the package is out for delivery. I have also been told I would be called back to follow up on the situation, and received nothing. But I have had call center agents tell me that the delivery is difficult because of the area, yet I stay in a major metropolitan area. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
