Rescheduled Delivery

I am awaiting a package from Amazon, been waiting a while. Delivery is supposed to happen today, but when I track the package it said there was an attempted delivery.

No one has tried to contact me via email or cell phone, both of which should be available. I have a domestic ready to sign for the item, but it will not help if the driver just hoots his horn without contacting anyone. Pathetic. I might never get my package if this is how deliveries are done.
