R260 TO CLEAR OVERSEAS SHIPMENT! BE WARNED!
<p>Aramex South Africa charges R260 ~$19 for any oversears parcel they clear and deliver in SA.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is daylight robery! I already paid $17 for Aramex in Hong Kong!</p> <p>Besides the parcel arriving 2 weeks later! They like to charge dismal fees to squeeze money from the customer.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is high level *****!</p> <p>STAY AWAY FROM THESE ******!</p>

The clearance fee that you are refering to is charged on all non-document shipments. This fee is charged by all courier companies and may be refered to as a Clearance Fee or Disbursment fee. This fee is app**** around the world by the express courier inudstry in terms of the work that is involved with clearing a shipment through customs in a respective country.
When quoted on courier fees to export a shipment these cost does not include VAT/Duties and clearnace in the destination country. These fees should always be requested and clarified when ordering goods overseas. We strongly suggest that you discuss this with your supplier before the order is completed.
