Poor service delivery

I deposited a parcel at the BP Pik n Pay point in Raisethorpe, PMB on the 16th of April scheduled to be delivered to Balfour. After reporting the parcel undelivered more than a week later, I am constantly calling in to enquire on the status of my case with no proper and definite feedback.

By now, it's apparent that the parcel has been lost or ******, however no admission has been forthcoming.

I am irked by the fact that Aramex contracts with dubious service providers(my parcel went missing on the handover to other contractors) , and the fact that it's only my second parcel using their dropbox system. I purchased extra bags thinking that it would be a smooth flowing service(I do online retail sales), but it has left a bitter taste. Please beware of the dropbox system from Aramex. It may be value for money, but when a parcel goes missing, you must understand that it's not a personalised system, and it changes too many hands along the way.

Finally, I've now learned that Fastway is more personalised, cheaper for main centres, AND provide FREE (upto R1000) insurance cover for their prepaid bag service.

Regards

Ashraf

P.S. No message with sympathies are wanted from Aramex. Just give people a sense of trust and you will gain your profits from it.

Actually, the parcel was sent on the 11th of April.(Not 16th)

I've just recived a message that the parcel is found and pictures of the contents have been verified by me.. So obviously this works to the credit of Aramex. I'll adjust my rating to accomodate for that.
