PATHETIC! PATHETIC! PATHETIC!

I received an sms from Aramex at 08:12 this morning (Tuesday 17 January) stating that I will receive my order before 5pm.

Since 16:35 I had to make several phone calls to their Kimberley Branch ***) where I spoke to the lady answering the phone, explaining the problem. She transferred me to somebody (couldn't hear the person's name - he was very rude!) who said that "...they should know we don't do Lime Acres." He gave me a cellphone number ***) to call and slammed down the phone.

Apparently this number is registered to a Reason Phindani, who confirmed that he does the deliveries for Lime Acres but doesn't have a package with that waybill number. I was informed that he will only be receiving the package tomorrow. I phoned the Kimberley branch again and was transferred to "Operations" where I spoke to Lloyd, whose explanations didn't hold water.

He first stated that the package is supposed to be in Kuruman already. When I told him that I spoke to the person in Kuruman which denies possession of the package, he changed his story to: "We only received the package today from Jo'burg. It is on its way to Kuruman so they wouldn't have it yet."

My husband contacted Reason again who confirmed that the Kimberley branch is lying to us and that he will only receive any shipments tomorrow morning, as it wasn't with the shipments received today. He stated further that he only deliver in this area on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I will only receive my package on Thursday.

It is unacceptable that a customer receives an sms that a package will be delivered that day and then have to make several phone calls to try and locate the package, only to determine that it would be received TWO(2) days AFTER the sms was sent.

This is why I never dealt with Aramex since 2015. The company has no concept of the meaning customer service. Representatives lie to cover themselves and customers are misinformed.

I hope this was the last time I ever have to deal with this company. If I could rate them at ZERO(0) stars, I would.
