Parcels taking a week on held in customs status

I am soo frustrated by aramex service. My parcel has been with them for the whole week and there's no proper update on the website on what's the hold up, i sent emails to follow-up and all i get is, there are no charges yet... How long m i supposed to wait? I need that parcel shipped today! It can't be next week, this is pathetic! And every time i follow up, i have to send numerous emails before i get a response!
