Parcel stuck in Aramex holding facility

According to Aramex records, my parcel landed at their facility on the 3rd of October. It is now the 12th of November. I put in a request for info on their website, got an automated reply but no feedback. Link with reference number that they gave in the email is a dead link. It goes to a blank webpage. Also sent an email to customer care, no reply. Gauteng office's landline is dead. Are these people still in business?

Aramex Contact Centre Team Leader Mr. Katlego Kat Mokadi says the item got 'lost'. At least that is what I understand from the complicated and confusing explanation I was given. LOL. A courier service that allows your stuff to get lost should not be in business. I am really very upset about this because after waiting for more than a month for my (expensive) parcel while it was languishing in their JHB facility, I now get told "Sorry, your item is gone". I am sure that if I did not contact Hellopeter, I would not have heard from Aramex, at all. So what am I to do now? Mr. Mokadi says they will contact the supplier to ask for a replacement to be sent to South Africa. Really? How long is that going to take? I think I want my money back NOW. Not maybe, or next week or next year, NOW. I am finished waiting. And I will definitely tell everybody about Aramex.

Good afternoon Mr Van Loggerenberg,
Your comments are noted and a copy of your message has been escalated to the Senior Branch Manager responsible for the Pretoria Region for consideration and a decision.
It appears that the shipment never arrived on the flight from the UK, and an investigation was subsequently launched.
The Pretoria Branch Manager is currently travelling, however he will be in contact with you soonest.
Should you require any further assistance please feel free to contact Motsumi or the Johannesburg Customer Care for assistance.
Kind regards

There is still no progress with my parcel that was "lost" by Aramex. eBay confirmed that the parcel was delivered in Johannesburg by their Global Shipping facility and that Aramex must have lost the parcel. Pieter Jansen van Deventer asked more information on the 25th of November, which I emailed him an hour-and-a half later. Since then there is a deafening silence. I have also stressed that I will be away on business from the 3rd of December until the 22nd, and I asked Aramex to please expedite the matter. Not even an acknowledgement of this email. Maybe they are all on leave already. Which would probably not make a difference anyway. Like I said from the start, I want my money back.
