Parcel ****kily goes missing

I have just had a parcel declared “missing”. The parcel was received and scanned in by the Johannesburg office and then mysteriously vaporized. In all honesty, it was only then that I flipped the waybill and read the terms & conditions printed in a font-size of 2: aramex is not liable for any consequential loss neither does it not offer or carry insurance cover. I now notice on Hellepoter that aramex’s average rating is a dismal 2 out of 5 and the hpi rating is a pathetic 3.4 out of 10. This makes perfect sense to me as I have had to make countless phone calls and received only two back from them in the 11 days since the parcel was dropped in the Pick n Pay box. During the second phone call, after I received an automated email that the parcel was “declared missing”, it was made clear to me that there is no liability on aramex’s side and that the issue is closed. I feel this is bad service plain and simple, and that the parcel was most likely ****** whilst in aramex’s possession as a physical object cannot simply disappear whilst being handled - unless we are in the Twilight Zone or in the Matrix. Buyer beware.

During a phone call from you some time ago, you mentioned that I must supply invoices or proof of value of the contabt of the parcel that ... "went missing". I don't keep the slips of the stuff I purchase over time to make up parcel for the destitute pensioner to whom I send a parcel regulraly. Please do not contact me again as I would rather crawl through chopped glass and deliver the parcel myself than EVER make use of your service again. "You only get what you pay for" and I have most certainly learned my lesson.
