PACKAGE UNDELIVERED 3 MONTHS LATER

I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH THE PATHETIC SERVICE FROM ARAMEX. A FRIEND IN DUBAI SENT ME A PACKAGE ON 3RD OCTOBER. THE STATUS ON MY PACKAGE HAS BEEN Customs Clearance - In Progress TO DATE 16 JAN. I HAVE PROVIDED THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND MY FRIEND HAS EVEN SENT THEM THE INVOICES ON HER SIDE. THIS IS REALLY UNACCEPTABLE TO WAIT FOR SO MANY MONTHS.I HAD NO ASSISTANCE FROM THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. EITHER. I HAVE USED OTHER COURIER COMPANIES LIKE DHL BEFORE AND HAVE NEVER HAD ISSUES . INFACT THEY ARE PROMPT AND DELIVER ON TIME.

Dear Halisani
The above mentioned query is noted and being monitored by our Imports team, however there has been little change since their last communications with you.
I have escalated your latest comments to the Imports Manager as well as the National Customer Service Executive for advice and response. As communicated to you previously, the two shipments mentioned have been stopped and detained by Customs until further notice.
Waybill ending 212 has attracted penalties for under-declaration and has not been released.
Waybill ending 223 will be moved to the State Warehouse as per Customs instruction and advise.
Aramex facilitates the Customs process on your behalf as a value added service however it must be noted that Aramex has no control over the Customs process, and can not dictate any course of action to them. We make every effort to assist both our customer and Customs as promptly and efficiently as we are able to with information, documentation and proof of payment recieved from the customer.
We will be giving a final update soonest.
Kind regards,
Customer Care Johannesburg - Aramex SA
