Overnight is actually over a week

I recently bought a part for my pc from joburg and used Aramex to deliver it to me in durban. ****m distance by my reasoning it should have taken about a day to collect, get sorted and delivered.

Boy was i wrong.

it took them a day just to collect it from the retailer then an other full day to sort though - according to their own website.

it took them another full day to send it to their durban branch and it's still there for the weekend.

Now, I normally wouldn't be so ****ed off with courier companies, especially since they're usually quite cheap.

BUT ARAMEX IS NOT CHEAP!!!

they charged me almost 300 rands for this delivery (from joburg to durban) while other companies like dawnwing and fedex charged me a half of that to deliver larger parcels from cape town, which is also further away. BTW they were also way faster...

At this point all i can do is pray that it gets here safely and that i dont have to take a drive to their offices
