Non delivery
<p>I ordered an item "Express Delivery" from Nike South Africa on 19th December. Aramex are the "courier". I have this in inverted commas as they are unable to achieve this simple service. Aramex have had the order for 8 days and have still not despatched the item. This is shocking service. Use any other courier in South Africa than these people. They have had the package for 5 working days (taking Christmas public holidays into account) and it is still not out for delivery. Will never buy from anyone who uses Aramex for their deliveries in future.</p>

We apologize for the delay in delivery and we fully understand how frustrating this may be, however the shipment is currently held by Customs for inspection. This forms part of the normal import process, and during peak periods Customs reserves the right to stop all shipments irrespective of the value declared.
Customs is not under Aramex's control and although we facilitate the process on behalf of the customer, they operate independently and is State owned.
Your complaint has been escalated to an Imports Team Senior, and he will be in contact with you shortly.

I have an importers license and import items from the USA and U.K. regularly including 3 orders at the same time as this particular order and for many times the value. I have never had any order held up at customs in Joburg for 10 days (item arrived 19 December).
