Lost parcel, no compensation

I was just informed that my package was lost as the courier van was highjacked and I will not receive any compensation for it because it was a store to door delivery. What nonsense? You guys offer me a free (uninsured) sleeve for a parcel valued at R1000 that you lost? And to top it off, nobody called me! I had to write to support asking why my customer didn't receive their parcel and the agent opens with "Did nobody tell you what happened?" Pathetic service and I want compensation for my lost parcel.
