Lost parcel from Spain

Hi

I don't know if your company can assist with this problem as you have assisted me a while ago with a MTN problem very successfully, thank you once again.

My dear school friend of 50 years has sent me a Christmas present from Spain on the 13 November last year, as to date I still haven't received my parcel especially with both parties having contacted ALL concerned but to no avail whatsoever. We are now of the opinion that this parcel has been lost or ****** as nobody is coming forward to assist us.

My friends hubbie in Spain used a courier company to send the parcel to Aramex who has sent the parcel here. Copy of the details are attached.

The parcel was sent from Spain to England on 13 November, via Priority Parcel Express. Attached proof of courier ESZA-***. It arrived in England Aramex UK on 23 November, then into Aramex SA when it arrived in Jhb on 26 November.

The Aramex tracking number is: *** for delivery to where I stay in Fouriesburg in the Free State.

The person we have been dealing with at Aramex is: Zithulele Khumalo Tel. ***/4092 Add. 1 Avalon Rd Longmeadow Johannesburg

I have managed to speak to him once and my hubby as well. When I ask to speak to a manager or someone in authority they are never available and always in meetings. When I go into the tracking, the report always says "Held at customs awaiting further details from Customer". Which has said that since the parcel has arrived in Jhb. The parcel also has no commercial value, as my friend has made the items. In total I think it's worth R40.00. My friend in Spain has also been trying to follow up from their side as well but also to no avail.

One of Aramex's policies is guaranteed delivery within 5 days. This has now been nearly 2 months. I am now beginning to doubt the integrity and efficiency of this company totally and find it extremely hard to believe that customs clearance takes 2 months.

Please be do kind as to to let me know whether your company will be able to assist me in this matter as we are just going up against brick walls now as far as we go.
