Late job application

I sent my parcel(CV and qualifications)DBP*** before noon Thursday the 2nd. Today is the 7th and it's due. It shows as it's still in East London instead of Queenstown. I understood it not being delivered Friday but Monday and Tuesday? I should have taken my chances with SA post office. We use private couriers to avoid disappointments.
