I HATE Aramex

*** was my reference received from Aramex

I send a parcel from Bloem to Kimberley on Monday, even if Aramex was more expensive than Ram Couriers. Was told on Tuesday it will be delivered. On Thursday Kimberley call me and ask where's the parcel. Aramex delivered to wrong address, gave them the address again, but user friendly and not the technical correct address, maybe this will make it easier. Come the following Tuesday, still no delivery. Call, was promised that Kimberley manager will call the person where it should be delivered and make sure on Wednesday it was delivered. The Bloem Aramex will Call me on Wednesday and confirm, guess what that lady is on leave -starting on Wednesday when she was supposed to confirm. Call today (13 Oct. Thursday) the Kimberley branch. The manager would call me back yet no call received.

We have so many courier services, and in a competitive market, such no care, no follow ups, no get backs, not making good on your word, reckless and not give a damn attitude. Will definitely make clients us competitors where services is fast and friendly and easy to follow up, and they rectify mistake in record time of mistake was made.

Was the last time I spent my money on Aramex.

Your last time customer.

John Handford

Dear Mr Handford

We have investigated the matter regarding booking reference J03B238, waybill number: ***

Shipment was collected on 3 October 2016 and delivered on 4 October 2016 to the address on the waybill in Gladstone Ave, De Beers, Kimberley where the courier was advised that the recipient no longer stays there.

Aramex contacted the receiver to confirm where we need to re-route the shipment to and was advised to leave it with the tenants at the original address, and that it would be collected from them.

When the receiver collected the shipment from the tenants, Aramex was contacted and advised that the content is not what they were waiting for.

Unfortunately the content and/or confirmation of content falls outside the scope of Aramex's duties and responsibilities. We are responsible for the delivery of shipments entrusted to us.

Should you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly.

Kind regards

Aramex SA
