Horrible Service from Aramex Couriers South Africa

Aramex Couriers South Africa is the most useless courier service ever! An item which was supposed to be delivered in 1-2 business days, took close to 4 days to deliver! I ended up being on the phone with them for a good portion of the day just to track the item. Today I even offered to go fetch from their driver where ever he was in Pretoria, but they did not allow this.

After several calls, they eventually said they had delivered the item to Kalafong hospital today (Friday) and they delivered to an "Amos". I had specified the ward to which it should have been delivered along with my number (on the online application so the margin of error in terms of numbers and names is less), but this was clearly ignored. It was NOT delivered to the ward (as i was there the whole day) and I was not called when the item was apparently delivered to the hospital. Kalafong is a massive hospital....to find an "Amos" there, not knowing if he was a cleaner or the CEO...is close to impossible!

They could not tell me where this person was working in the hospital and they could not even give me the number of the driver who delivered the product. They did not call me at delivery and rather delivered to some random guy in the hospital, whom I do not know, instead. All Aramex (Lisa) said was that they will have to open a case to report the matter.

I was very disappointed with their service. Even after explaining the urgency of receiving the product (as I planned to send the item overseas in a flight leaving at 5pm today) they did not seem to care any less.

For the sake of the safety of you items please do not Aramex Couriers South Africa. They are completely useless and unprofessional.
