False & misleading advertising & poor attitude

On the 6th January 2016 I requested my pharmacist in East London to send medication to me via Aramex.

My decision to use Aramex was based on the convenience of Pick 'n Pay to the pharmacy, but also the advertising of Aramex - quote \Send a parcel overnight* to anywhere in the country". This statement is qualified further on the leaflet stating \""Domestic deliveries are overnight ...to all major centres and could take up to 72 hours for far outlying areas\"". I live in what could be called a far outlying area and there is no exclusion of any area where deliveries are not made.

On the 8th January"

Hello Roger J,

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us.

As per our discussions, the area is not service regularly and as a result was held back to confirm the way forward with you. Unfortunately we failed to contact you in good time regarding the matter and the service availability for Coffee Bay.
After discussions you had with the East London office the parcel was returned to the collection point and delivered on the 9th of January. We have since spoken to the sender of the shipment and we will be concluding the matter tomorrow morning in terms of a refund.

If you need any further assistance in this regard, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,
Hein Bruyns
