Drone Delivery Machines Is The future - Aramex Couriers Is The Sniper
More than two weeks ago I ordered a product from an overseas supplier to promote my self-employment home-based business. The supply was very clear on his delivery schedule and milestones, this is traceable online. Unfortunately this consignment was assigned to ARAMEX COURIERS to expedite it on South Africa’s side. I have never done business with Aramex before and was extremely stressed and shocked by their pathetic customer service and client orientation levels. I was stressed because I paid Top Dollar for this shipping service affected by our currency in S.A. and was disturbed by the outcomes. My parcel was suppose to have arrived on Friday April 21st 2016, that is according to my supply parcel tracking system, in which case my client in Lesotho was scheduled to receive it on Monday 25th April 2016 @ 10:30 A.M. Instead it was delivered late to me on Tuesday 26th April 2016 @ 20:30HR P.M. I lost the deal and the client of which it took me 18 months to prospect and get this sale. In my opinion as a customer irrespective of my race, currency and gender I think I was discriminated against, because; why should my parcel delay and be the last item on their agenda to be delivered at night? ARAMEX COURIERS is worse than the Post Office in South Africa. Their excuses and claims was that my address did not exist and I was unreachable on my cell phone. This is preposterous this parcel meant a lot to me I was available 24 hours on all contact details furnished to my supply. I lost a lot of money trying to call them and follow up to trace my parcel, in order to meet my client deadline. To my dismay I was tossed from pillar to post and spoke with different personnel staff who knew nothing about my parcel. My phone bill is going to be very high next month. I experienced an extreme lack of commitment and reliability in this ordeal. No one took ownership of my problem and frustration. I was referred to Vanda and she sent me to Thuso, and Thuso to Ben and eventually spoke to Thozama but in a nutshell, this experience was like trying to pull a tooth out of a fairy. It is the worst I have ever come across and it’s completely unacceptable in business standards. A woman by the name of Trudy called me to try and justify Aramex poor delivery issues, which to me was irrelevant and too late to repair the damage I have already suffered. I wonder if this company is not part of a Government Tendered Entity. Otherwise this is reflecting badly to businesses in the private sector. However, it is seriously sad and disappointing to say the least. If you're a Black African business or BEE owner who imports and exports good overseas, I will NOT recommend Aramex as a courier company of choice to do business with. I suggest you find alternative courier options to save the day. Between ratings of (1-10) where 1 are poor and 10 is excellent. I give Aramex Couriers (-1) for the discriminatory policy of serving black SMME clients with contentions and (0) for lack of supervision and accountability by management. In future; customers need to have a choice of who should deliver their parcels in conjunction with suppliers. I have lost faith in dealing with the human elements – Drone Delivery Machines Is The future - Aramex Couriers Is The Sniper
