Different excuses.

I have a package that I had couriered from California to SA via aramex international. As anyone knows, using a courier for international parcels is incredibly expensive but as I expected to get it much sooner than the SA postal service, I pay it. My package landed in SA on the 30/10/17. It says it is on its was to the aramex operations facility. I called the afternoon of the 30/10. The Women on the customer care line said it has passed customs and i should have it within 72hrs as I am in a outlying area. The 2/11 I called again as it still hasn’t moved since the 30/11 on the tracking. Now I was told, it hadn’t gone through customs yet. The man said that customs is very busy this time of year but it should go through by the early afternoon. I can check the tracking again at 13:00ish. At 14:00 I called again as it still hadn’t moved. Was Now told it has to be re-submitted for custom clearance as it was ‘missed’ the first time around. My husband called at the same time as me to follow up (I wasn’t aware) He was told by a different agent that customs had put it on hold as they were waiting for the commercial invoice from us. This is the first we had heard of this!!!! So this morning 3/11 I called again. NOW I hear that they don’t need a commercial invoice from me, the customs staff are on TRAINING, that’s why it’s taking longer. *** IS GONG ON?!! My husband and myself have called SEVERAL times. Each time I get a different excuse! It doesn’t seem like Aramex has a CLUE what is going on with my parcel! I paid almost R900 to ship this parcel! If I wanted to wait so long I could’ve used the SA Post Office and only paid R60! This is ridiculous! And I still don’t know what is happening.
