Delay in shipment

Hi have ordered items from India to be shipped to south africa. I did order the exact Same items before and during lockdown but I used FedEx. When I used FedEx I received my items within a week. This time I was told by someone to try aramex as they abit cheaper but not realizing that the service is terrible. My courier for my items started on the 21st October 2020 and right up until today 4 November 2020, I am told my items are still awaiting clearance in customs thereafter the process is that I will have to pay the customs duties then only after all that is done, delivery will be done. Which takes now another 4 to 5 days. Are these guys serious. Other courier services take 5 days to deliver an international shipment, aramex takes that amount of days to clear it in customs. These people are a joke. And the call Centre is even worse. Please try to avoid using them
