Customs clearance unreachable

I have a package from China that is being held for Customs Clearance. I have received one other (similar) package this year without problems, so I don't need an import licence (even though I do have one).

I have submitted multiple clearance requests online, but no one has contacted me. I have also called them about 9 times for the last two days and I am on hold for 15 minutes, then the call get's disconnected on their end.

How can I get in touch with Aramex South Africa to request customs clearance?

Okay, so I recevied a text message requesting me to call the number. I didn't, and then a day later I was informed by the sender that the package has been cleared and is on its way. Greay stuff, but still, they should have answered. Cheers!

I wish I could just give up, but I really want the package. So after multiple phone calls, all typically leading to 5 minutes of being on hold, then a call drop (it's not from my side, I can check the server), I am still struggling to get hold of the person I am dealing with. I won't say her name, but her service is non-existend and simply tragic.

Every time I FINALLY get through to her or the call center at all, I am asked to send another document, which then do, and so the cycle repeats of trying to get hold of them to find out what is going on.

Sigh, tragic service.
