Contradictions and Broken Promises

Good Day

An international shipment which is now well overdue has been held by South African customs because the sender had not attached the Commercial Invoice. Having noticed the issue through the on-line tracking service, I contacted Aramex customer care. The first person who I spoke to told me that he would sort it out and that I did not have to do anything. The following week, nothing had happened, so I phoned again only to be told that I needed to contact their airport facility, which I promptly did.

After finally getting through, I made an agreement to email the Commercial Invoice, which I had by now obtained from the sender, to a staff member at the airport. My email received no reply and my repeated attempts to get through to the airport facility last Thursday and Friday were unanswered. I then made my third and final call to customer care and was assured that a member of staff at the airport facility would call me as soon as possible. I am still waiting for that call 2 business days later.

I sincerely hope that this matter is resolved as quickly as possible, as the package is now a week overdue.
