Bad Service

We have been waiting for a parcel for AGES!

i think this is the only delivery service which does not inform you of what time they will deliver or even attempt to get hold of you when they are at your gate!

we told them that the intercom is not in service, and hooting cannot be heard! We asked for them to call when they are at the gate and that we will be at home the whole day.... now we are home bound for 2 days and each time we call them they say they have been here already!!!!!

PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL WHEN YOU ARE AT THE GATE!!!!

All other couriers use sms services, and their drivers are on point with calling and keeping clients updated, whats Aremax's problem?!

DISGUSTING SERVICE!

Dear Mr Van der Westhuizen
Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and the matter has been escalated to the Johannesburg Operations Manager.
In explanation, due to the fact that there is a significant cost involved to call each customer as a result of the volume of shipments delivered daily and that a minimum of two attempts are made on consecutive business days to execute delivery of a shipment, most courier companies do not contact the customer when attempting delivery.
Should there be an issue, as was the case in this instance, the courier attempting delivery should make contact with the branch to advise and a call should have been made to you to determine if it could be resolved whilst in the area. Remedial action will be taken and again, we apologize for the inconvenience and delay.
Kind regards,
Customer Care Johannesburg - Aramex SA
