At the mercy of rude drivers

In April 2021, I won a voucher to shop at a certain online store, so I splurged on a handbag. The delivery via Aramex took some time but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. My real issue and the reason why I will never use this courier again is because of the mistreatment suffered at the hands of the driver assigned to me. He called me saying I need to come over to him, nearly 2km away because he refuses to come to my house and deliver the package. I asked him why and he used every excuse, its company policy, the area is forbidden, he is too busy, his boss won't allow it, the car us faulty and so on. Mind you, I am surrounded by hotels and homes that I know Aramex delivers to. We argued back and forth with the driver, with him now saying he's 20km away and to come to him. I called Aramex head office and they said they will look into it because there is no issue with the area or car. Eventually I was told that his supervisor is taking over the matter. Meanwhile the driver continued to harass me. I eventually called him to tell him I am disabled (I was on crutches at the time) and if he didn't bring my package directly, I will take action. He arrived with a colleague in the passenger seat, smelling like **** and smirking. I will never use this courier service again. So disappointed in the service and staff.
