ARAMEX South Africa Customs Stops Department PUTS A STOP TO YOU RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENTS!

TERRIBLE SERVICE THAT THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO BLAME ON THE LOCKDOWN BUT THAT WOULD BE UNTRUE.

Hope and pray that should your package be stopped by SA CUSTOMS for inspection while using ARAMEX South Africa, that you do not get Stops Clerk Daren Naidoo handling your case! I have been waiting for my package to be released from SA Customs since 06/03/2020 more than 3 weeks before the start of the lockdown in SA, and I am still waiting! I have received numerous repeating excuses for the delay from Daren, and continue to receive them even now? I have had packages stopped by SA Customs for inspection with other couriers and never ever had to wait more than a week for it to be released? I paid in full for the shipment and SA Customs tax due and then was informed of the stoppage after the fact. This should not have happened either. If necessary I will take legal action to have my shipment released and will claim damages from Aramex for this delay that should have been avoided before the lockdown even began. Think twice before using Aramex South Africa!
