Aramex South Africa/ Customs clearance

I have a parcel that was sent via Aramex from Hong Kong. My parcel has been detained by customs for weeks now. They keep sending me back and forth requesting all kinds of information to prove that the parcel in question is a gift and it was send by my friend, they even went as far as requesting screenshots of our private online conversation. I was not even given a valid reason why my parcel was detained in the first place. I have sent all the information they had requested from me, even the screenshots of our private conversation and specified what is inside the parcel. Now I am told that they are requesting a physical inspection on my parcel and i must pay an amount of R160.00 for the inspection! I have been on the phone for over 20minutes trying to get hold of someone from Aramex to assist me on this matter and there was no answer.

I am very disapointed by this kind of service and unfair treatment from Aramex aswel as the customs department. Till to date my parcel is till detained.
