ARAMEX SOUTH AFRICA ARE ****MERS & *****STERS

1. I booked a small package from South Africa to the USA about 2 weeks ago.

2. Aramex collected the package, and your driver placed the small box in an Aramex shipping bag.

3. Suddenly Aramex South Africa claims a discrepancy with the measurements of my small box and wants an additional R638 to ship it to the USA

4. The contents of the package is a small ceramic egg cup with a height of 4.8cm and width of 4cm.

5. Aramex claims the parcel is too small to move it as it is. From Rochelle at Aramex customer service responded on online chat "the shipment is too small to move it as is it needed to be package corrected"

6. According to Aramex they have to re-pack the parcel in order not to lose it??? 7. After Aramex repacked my tiny box, Aramex measured it as 30cm x 30cm with 13cm height. IS THIS AN ARAMEX ****?????

8. How on earth would you place an item of 4.8cm x 4cm x 4cm weighing under 100grams into a box 30cm x 30cm x 13cm???

9. Is it common practice for Aramex to quote incorrectly online? And, because the package is suddenly too small, Aramex repacks the item into a massive box to not lose the parcel? Ridiculous!

I read the terms and conditions, NOWHERE does it state a package can be too small?

If it indeed is the case, that you don't ship small packages - just confirm it for me in writing.....
