Aramex no delivery or communication

On Monday, 1 December, I had a parcel sent with tracking number: PPA*** to me from Cape Town for my friend's 40th birthday party. The promise was that it would arrive in 2-3 days. Seven days later, I have not heard a word about this. Of course, the birthday party has passed, and I had to buy an alternative gift. I am not able to win in their contact centre because of the different numbers keep hanging up. Do not use Post Net (Aramex) for anything that is urgent or important/valuable. As things stand I have no clue when the parcel will arrive and I'm travelling out of town on Wednesday. This might be a very expensive loss on my end — what a ****.
