Aramex is more like South African Post Office
Why does Amazon use Aramex? As a courier service they're terrible

13 Aug 2025, 00:51My package arrived in Johannesburg 10 August and cleared custom the same day. On the 11th and 12 the same process then ends with "Package in transit. Flight containing package has departed.". Clearly it's sitting at a warehouse a few km from my house yet they won't let me go pick it up myself. It was quicker to fly the package from US to SA than it is to deliver from Warehouse in Johannesburg to my house in Johannesburg.
