Aramex has completely shocked me and let my 15 year old down!!!!
Absolutely shocked and disgusted with their delivery service. I app**** for home schooling for my son due to the covid pandemic & not wanting my son in a public school until this is passed. I registered with the home school institution 2 weeks ago. The books were dispatched from the education center to Aramex within 2 days of me registering and paying. First notice from Aramex was Fri 12 June to say they received the books for delivey. Delivery date was due to be Tues 16 June. Today is 24 June. Still NO DELIVERY. Get a call from Aramex on Saturday confirming my address and they PROMISE delivery Monday. After no delivery Monday I then phoned Tuesday, only to be told it is still sitting at their Sandton branch (Head Office they term it). They PROMISE delivery today, Wednesday. I call again today (2pm) and it's STILL sitting in Sandton. No one can tell me why. No one can tell me what the problem is. No one can tell me when it will be delivered. No one can transfer me to a manger. No one can tell my son why he is still waiting for his educational books to home school. He begs me every day to follow up and every day I tell him Aramex promised to deliver tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the next day.....and so it goes on. Online tracking has NO info except "your parcel is ready to be despatched" For 2 weeks now. REALLY?!?! I must now pay the school institution tomorrow for the monthly installment...for books I STILL DON'T HAVE?!?!?!?! I need Aramex to explain to the institution why THEY will be held liable for this months payment. I cannot pay for education that's literally sitting in their warehouse collecting dust. They also need to tell my 15 year old why they just don't care about their jobs apparently. Not one person I have spoken to has been able to help. Not one. All of my calls are recorded, and these I will happily make public so all can hear how Aramex is absolutely useless and TRULY just don't care.
