Aramex Global Shopper

I am beyond disappointed with the pathetic service I received from Aramex Global Shopper. Firstly, the charges are ridiculous, given they make up the kg's as they go along. I was trying to figure out how kids underwear and toddler tees can weigh almost 4kgs; then I thought I'll give it the benefit of the doubt becoz maybe its in a box, but NO! It was literally in a plastic bag and didn't even weigh as much as they said - I queried this and never got a reply! I also specifically asked them to contact me when my other package arrives at their office in the UK becoz if it weighs too much then I would have to send it back to the shop becoz of the ridiculous charges if I have it sent to SA. No one contacted me, I just got an email stating that I have to pay R934 and my package has been shipped already! Few days later, I got another email to say I need to pay R1014 in custom charges .. what the flip man?! So the clothing I initially paid R1700 for, I'm now having to pay over R4,000 in total (first package weighed half kilo and the charge was R304). This is totally ridiculous! Aramex and their staff didn't even bother to get back to my emails or requests. They didn't even bother to inform a first time client that there will be a huge amount of customs related to this. In this trying time, they feel the need to suck the last from their clients irrespective. I will NEVER use their services again and I will tell everyone about this absurd charges and lack of service! Also the fact that they **** about the weight of the packaging - I'd like to know how this was weighed?!
