Aramex - Do NOT trust this company with your parcels: Unacceptable service and communication.

I ordered items from Shein on 30 September 2023.I paid the required import tax and an an additional customs amount after a Warehouse inspection on 13 October. The Aramex agent confirmed receipt of payment and said she forwarded proof to the Detained office staff. That was not done. After numerous Call Centre calls I received an email address of Justice at the Detained department. He never bothered to respond. I contacted Aramex Global now three times, to no avail. I spoke to Rumby at the Detained department on Friday 27 October, she took my cell number but never phoned me back. I phoned again on Monday 30 October and spoke to Lebo who said the parcel was released on Friday. That is still not reflected on my Order information today and the chatbot says today that the parcel is still 'confiscated'. Do not make use of Aramex, they do not respond to enquiries in an effective manner and they do not care about their customers.
