aramex customs unfair billing

in july i ordered clothing from china with the shipment number of *** which amounted to $61.01 and the shipping fee was quoted for $35.40 making the total amount i paid $96.41 and weighed 2kg. i then received an email from katleho an employee of aramex claiming that my parcel had been stopped by customs and i must pay R160.00 for them to inspect it together with my ID copy and receipt of the goods which i did. now i'm being told that my parcel had been undervalued and i have to pay penalties including: a clearance fee of R260.00 disbur*****ts of R26.20 customs penalties of R750.00 customs vat of R330.60 and duties of R639.90. meaning i now have to pay R2 045.70 for my parcel to be released to me. How can i pay over R2 000.00 for a parcel that cost just over R1 400.00? I have used the post office on countless occasions and never have i ever had to pay so much money for any parcel. Isnt this ****************, i'm not the one who undervalued my parcel so why must i suffer for it?
