Aramex customer service is appaling

I read the reviews about Aramex after using them to ship my package and I started getting very scared. My package arrived in South Africa quite quickly. However, my customs charge is higher than the actual package. How does that even make sense?? I have called and emailed multiple times but they are not very helpful. I was holding on the phone for 15 minutes and no answer. They keep sending the customs worksheet and its really not helping much. I don’t know if they use their own percentages to calculate customs or what. I regret betraying DHL because Aramex customer service is appalling. I just feel like paying the fee now before they ***** my package.
