Aramex charges incorrect due to Aramex package weight errors.

I ordered an item from a seller over ebay. I had no idea what the item weighed and the weight is not communicated unless I specifically ask for the weight from the seller. The shipping within Germany was only Eur 5.55. That is not excessive so there was no reason for me to request the weight. The item is shipped in Germany from the seller on EBay to Aramex Germany.

Aramex Germany weighed the package and completed the label that is put on the package that is shown in a picture of the pacakage on the Aramex website. Aramex Global Shopper billed me for the shipping and I paid the shipping since I had no idea what the weight is. I thought the weight is possible but when I received it I knew there is no way that this could weigh the 5.55 Kg. indicated. I weighed the box on my electronic kitchen scale and it was 2.51 kg. I have the package and it is opened but can be inspected and weighed if they wish.

They made a mistake when they entered the weight on the label - by the looks of it they have switched to values around. In my e-mails with Aramex I have attached the invoice from the Seller on ebay and pictures of my scale as I weighed the full package and package content and packaging. Not once did they ask me to bring in the package to be weighed by them. I contacted the CGS Ombud in October 2019 but with them only passing e-mails from me to Aramex and Aramex to me, an exercise I've already been through with Aramex.
