Aramex - bad service

I write this with tears with tears in my ears. I dropped my item at Aramex on the 29th of January 2022 at 11:46, to date no one can tell me what happened.

On the 31st of January when i checked on my Aramex app there was no update, I decided I give it time. On the 01st of February 2022, I decided to call as I was panicking. I was told that they received my bag and that it was going to be delivered on the 02nd of February 2022. Please note, the update only happened after the phone call. What worried me was that on the app, the details of the contents was written. "How did they know" I asked myself.

I checked on the 02nd of February 2022, there was no update on my app. I checked again on the 03rd of February 2022, there was still no update. I phoned on the 04th of February 2022, that was only then I was told that my bag was received empty. Please note, no one phoned me to informed of such. The lady that was "investigating for me" told me, "unfortunately, there was nothing they can do. I asked that a picture of my item be emailed to me to see what it was they were referring to. To date, I am still waiting.

I sent an email to a Supervisor who on the 07th of January 2022, who called me, made it seem like it was my fault to have my cellphone ******. I then asked a question that she confirmed: That if the item I was sending was out of the item they covered, was the item not supposed to be kept, and was I not supposed to be contacted to come collect my item? She did confirm that that was the case.

She told me she was going to speak to the Box Manager and get back to me. This was on Monday.

I followed up on Wednesday, the 09th of February 2022, no response. I followed up again today in the morning, the 11th February 2022, still no response.

This is very sad for me as I lost R1100.00 and the company does not care and protecting their staff for *****ing my cellphone and making it my item. Yes, there are terms and conditions and there is no where under those conditions were makes it Ok for an item to be taken.
